Readings and Talks

The Lannan Readings and Talks Series is a year-long program that brings poets from across the literary and literal world to discuss and share their work.

The two-part readings take place Tuesday evenings at Georgetown University. Unless otherwise specified, we begin at 4:30 PM in the Lannan Center (New North 408) with an informal seminar with the guest poet(s). A formal reading follows at 7:00 PM and closes with a small reception and book-signing. The seminar, reading and reception are free of charge and open to the public. No RSVP is required, unless specified in the event announcement.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO 4:30PM SEMINAR FOR OUR FIRST EVENT ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25TH. THE EVENT BEGINS AT 7PM IN COPLEY FORMAL LOUNGE.
