Student Job Opening:  826DC Youth Writing and Publishing Fellowship

The Lannan Center is hiring for the position of 826DC Lannan Center Fellow. Fellows support 826DC youth publication projects including our Young Authors Book Project, In-School Writing and Editing and our After-School Writing Lab based publication opportunity for DC students. Fellows will support students between ages 6-18 in building creative and expository writing skills and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the back-end process of book publication written by young authors in the District. The fellow will have the option of continuing into the fall of 2025 and spring 2026.

Available Openings: 1

Hours:  10/week

Hourly Rate: $19.50/hour

Employer: Lannan Center for Poetics and Social Practice

Work Mode: In-person at 826DC, 3333 14th Street NW
