Charles Amirkhanian is an American composer known for his electroacoustic and text-sound music. He is a percussionist, sound poet, and radio producer of Armenian extraction. He is the former Musical Director of KPFA FM Radio and is currently the Executive Director of the Djerassi Resident Artists Program in Woodside as well as the Program Director of the Other Minds Music Festival in San Francisco.
