Elvin Johnson, Rickey Bryant and William T. Lawson have experienced a combined total of over 85 years in prisons, jails, and youth detention facilities in the United States. As volunteers with the Phelps Stokes National Homecomers Academy in D.C., they help others transition from prison back into the community.
